What is Certification Training? Certification training is a requirement under Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act. The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) establishes the standards for certification training. Who Can Deliver Basic Certification Training Part 1? A Basic Certification provider must be approved by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) through their Health & Safety Partners. How Long Does Basic Certification Training Part 1 Take? There is no defined time prescribed for Basic Certification Training, although there are learning outcomes that must be covered.
