Why should you take this course?

A: The Law States: ALL employers under the Workplace Safety & Insurance Act are required to have first aid equipment, facilities and trained personnel in all workplaces and on all shifts.

Programs are intended to train First Aid providers to stay calm and in control of a situation until the EMS arrive, without putting themselves or others at risk.

Standard First Aid



This course is the highest non-professional level of First Aid. This level of qualification is required for those designated as a First Aid or Emergency Response person in a workplace. Only a Standard First Aid card is accepted by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB).
