Office Safety

There are unexpected dangers lurking in your office! Do you know what they are? Do you know why it is important to identify them? What are the risks to you?

We think of an office to be a pretty safe place to work. After all, who could get hurt sitting at a desk? Unfortunately, it is not true. Every year thousands of workers are injured in office accidents and some of the injuries are very serious. The most serious accidents occur from falls on stairways or from lifting improperly. However, a number of other office hazards take their toll, sexual harassment, violence, house keeping and ergonomics are some of the other subjects Carola Mittag, President of WSG will target in her presentation.

Being Accessibility Compliant with your Website

Accessibility doesn’t only refer to wheelchair ramps and elevators. Lisa Matheson, from CMS Intelligence will speak about new legal requirements to make websites more accessible for people with seen, and unseen disabilities.
